offer high school students opportunities for service work and
cultural immersion in the United States and overseas. The
students learn about people and places that are very different
from their own doing teen community service in teen community
service camps. Service projects in community service camps
include building community structures, working with children and
the elderly, helping on environmental projects, helping care for
endangered animals, assisting in educational programs and many
more. The summer camp community service programs range in length
from two to four weeks. The students may live in community
centers, homes in the community, school buildings or camp out in
summer community service camps.
